Through taking this course you should develop a robust theoretical and practicalfoundation to psychology and adult learning. You will be expected to show an
ability to engage with and question prevailing theories and ideas, show initiative
in your study and to demonstrate a capacity for independent thought. While there
will be a strong emphasis on self-direction, advice will be readily available from
the module lecturer throughout the course. By the conclusion of the course, you
should have a firm grasp of the subject under review and have further developed
your skills as a facilitator of adult learning.
