Based on research since 1991, INSYTE’s prime focus is high quality, scholarly output at the cutting edge of emerging digital paradigms in systems and technologies and their social impact. The centre brings together a range of disciplines from across the Institute to tackle pressing challenges of the emerging digital paradigm. We offer deep insights into how technological and social systems can be co-designed in an ethical way to deliver sustainable performance. In the past two years a major focus of our work has been the development of human-machine intelligence systems using smart data systems and human-centred systems design. computing and engineering, as well as diversity and marginalisation in the digital society.
