Organisation profile
This Research Group was formed in 2002 with the aim of researching wireless energy propagation, through air and materials, measurement and simulation of the characteristics of wireless communications' channels and antenna design. Recent research has also been carried out using wireless techniques where optical fibre is the medium, to improve data throughput. Research carried out includes applied research for innovation in novel antennas, modulation, coding and related embedded processing. Innovations in electronic embedded systems are also being exploited. This permits extensive research in wireless sensing, embedded systems and control. The key areas of expertise include: Embedded Systems Electromagnetic Propagation Sensor Systems.
