Mr Arunanand Jayaraman

Materials engineering professional with 13+ years of Experience in Product Development and Project Management with focus on Materials and Additive Manufacturing

Arun joined SEAM in September 2021 as a Materials Scientist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, India. 

Prior to SEAM, Arun worked as a Materials development Engineer for Engine parts(XH5, K9K & H79), Jxx Gearbox, Driveline parts and Vehicle parts in Renault-Nissan Alliance, India.

Arun is currently working on an EI funded research collaboration between the SEAM research centre in WIT and Garrett Advancing Motion. This project is entitled “Scrap Reduction in the Casting Manufacture of Nickel Super Alloy Turbine Wheels collaboration” and will seek to improve product quality and reduce reject rates at the Garrett Waterford plant.
