Biography

Fabrice Bartholin is a lecturer in Hospitality Management and Tourism. Fabrice teaches theory-based modules in the areas of hospitality and tourism operations management, with a particular focus on practical components.

Fabrice is currently the Programme leader for the Higher Certificate in (arts) Hospitality Studies (Level 6).

Industry and teaching experience

Fabrice has more than 15 years of experience at the senior level in the luxury segment of the hospitality business, having worked in both Irish and international businesses in the service industry.

Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Fabrice has taught French to different cohorts under the Alliance Francaise umbrella in its Kilkenny Branch.

Education and research

Fabrice completed an Executive Master in Business Administration and is currently a PhD candidate at Dublin City University. Fabrice's PhD work explores the impact of the future of services on frontline employees' experiences at work and other distal organisational outcomes. The study tests a multilevel integration of the service profit chain framework.

Fabrice is enthusiastic about interdisciplinary research, with a particular interest in frontline service encounters and employee well-being, service technologies and service excellence management.
