Personal profile

Biography

I am a lecturer in Marketing at Waterford Institute of Technology and has lectured on a variety of modules on a range of programmes in the School of Business & Humanities over the last 26 years. 

My teaching interests include: Contemporary debates in education, Marketing, Services Marketing, Applied Marketing Research, Integrated Marketing Communications, Ethics and dissertation supervision.  I lecture both full-time & part-time students. 

I am involved in Master's thesis supervision in the School of Business and the School of Education and Life-long Learning.

I have a strong academic & professional background in Tourism & Hospitality and currently in Student Progression in HIgher Education and Student Well-being.

I am currently studying for a Professional Diploma in Positive Psychology with RCSI.

Research Interests

My research interests are predominantly in student success and well-being in higher education.

I am also involved in writing cases in services marketing and marketing areas such as sustainability.

Teaching

I am currently a lecturer in Marketing at Waterford Institute of Technology and has lectured on a variety of modules on a range of Business programmes in the School of Business & Humanities over the last 23 years.  Fiona has also lectured on Tourism & Hospitality programmes at Waterford Institute of Technology.
 
My teaching interests include:  Contemporary debates in education, Dissertation supervision, Marketing, Services Marketing, Applied Marketing Research, Integrated Marketing Communications.  I lecture both full-time & part-time students.
