Dr Susan Flynn is Head of Department of Arts at South East Technological University. Susan holds a PhD in Equality Studies and has lectured, researched and led a number of projects centred on education, digital technologies and equality, diversity and inclusion. During the past 10 years, Susan has lectured and acted as programme leader in the UK, China, and Ireland.
Susan's research centres on the sociology of equality, education, social justice and the media. She was Principle Investigator in the critical multiculturalism project, Other Voices, at University of the Arts London. For the past 2 years, Susan has researched 'pandemic pedagogies', the effects of online teaching and learning, in relation to affective equality.
Susan has previously lectured at University College Dublin, University of the Arts London, Hong Kong University, and Institute of Technology Carlow.
