A new 3D playfair based secure cipher generation model

Abstract

In this paper, a new 3D generalized playfair model is proposed that takes three letters of text message at the same time and generates cipher text accordingly. The 3D cipher structure provides enough room of security and much easier protocol for the generation of cipher text than the present 2D playfair models. The proposed structure provides an improvement of 97.86% and 68.35% in sense of brute force diagraphs than the 5×5 and 10×10 playfair models, respectively. Moreover, the proposed structure produces the cipher that may be the alphabetic, symbolic or hybrid of these make a critical impact in sense of secure communication.
