Abstract

The bulk and surface mechanical properties of a Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 amorphous alloy were examined. Cyclic heat treatment above 450 °C lead to unchanged elastic moduli and hardness. Thermal expansion coefficient decreased with increasing annealing temperature.
