Scalable conceptual hierarchy based algorithm for knowledge sharing in digital ecosystem

Abstract

Knowledge sharing between participants of the ecosystem is one core of the digital ecosystem. This paper proposes a framework of distributed knowledge sharing in digital ecosystem and a scalable algorithmfor knowledge sharing in digital ecosystem. The algorithm is based on concept lattice that is a popular mathematical structure for modeling conceptual hierarchies. The algorithm can decompose the search space of formal concepts into independent nonoverlapping subspaces that can be extracted independently to generate formal concepts. The experimental results show the algorithm is efficient to extract and present formal concepts in large data.
